Beta Notice: Stellarion is currently in beta testing. These Terms of Service are preliminary and subject to change. By using Stellarion during the beta period, you acknowledge that the service is provided "as-is" and may contain bugs or incomplete features.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Stellarion, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Beta Program Terms

Stellarion is currently in beta testing. During this period:

  • The service is provided free of charge or at promotional pricing
  • Features and functionality may change without notice
  • Service uptime and availability are not guaranteed
  • We may reset, modify, or discontinue features during development
  • Your feedback and bug reports are appreciated and may be used to improve the product

3. License and Usage

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Stellarion for your personal or commercial code analysis purposes.

Free Tier: Limited to 100 files per project analysis, single machine activation.
Professional Tier: Currently offered with promotional features. See pricing page for details.
Enterprise Tier: Contact us for custom licensing arrangements.

4. License Key Management

  • License keys are tied to specific System IDs (machine identifiers)
  • You are responsible for keeping your license keys confidential
  • Sharing license keys or attempting to bypass activation mechanisms is prohibited
  • We reserve the right to revoke licenses that violate these terms
  • License transfers between machines require deactivation and reactivation

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Stellarion for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Circumvent any license validation or security mechanisms
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Stellarion without authorization
  • Use the service to analyze malicious code or develop security exploits
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

6. Data and Privacy

Local Processing: Stellarion analyzes your code locally on your machine. We do not upload, store, or have access to your source code.

We collect and process only:

  • Account information (email, name)
  • License and activation data
  • Usage statistics and metadata
  • Analysis results metadata (not source code)

7. Intellectual Property

Stellarion, including all software, documentation, and branding, is owned by Stellarion and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your license does not grant you any ownership rights to Stellarion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

IMPORTANT: STELLARION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STELLARION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Stellarion at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time, especially as we transition from beta to general availability. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through our service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Stellarion operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
